Saab Event, June 11:th through August 8:th
On June 11:th the big SAAB event kicks off with 650 journalists and 2800 auto dealers from around the world attending. It is time to introduce the new SAAB 9-3 and the four wheel drive system XWD (Cross Wheel Drive) to the rest of the world. SAAB is also celebrating its 60:th anniversary which makes this event extra special.
SAAB is returning to its roots to hold this event. The Aeroseum, a stay in Gullmarsstrand and Lysekil, a boat cruise and test-driving the autos on the beautiful west-coast line are just some of the items on the agenda.
At Stora Holm Traffic Training Center the visitors will be greeted by SAAB Heritage Cars and experts from SAAB. Lectures will be held in the large event tent, there will be a press-center and also Display-cars to show accessories. As a part in celebrating SAAB´S 60 years in business there will be veteran-cars from different decades on display. Among others the SAAB 92, the first model ever to be put into production!
Journalists on location in June will have the opportunity to test drive the cars in rougher driving.
- Some of the many positive things about Stora Holm Traffic Training Cente is it´s superior location close to the Göteborg City Airport in Säve and the large areas at your disposal at the facility. Another plus is that you can test the autos on gravel, asphalt and a skid-pan at the same location, says Jürgen Fautz launching manager at SAAB.
